I found this via a Twitter link to this page at The Political Carnival
http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2012/09/26/video-gov-mitt-romney-did-not-care-it-was-almost-like-there-was-a-moat-system-around-the-romney-castle/
which has some quotes from the video, including these:
It was almost like there was a moat system around the Romney castle.
He had aides walking around with fake ear pieces in their ear pretending that they were secret service agents made sure no one had access to the governors office whatsoever.

(10,942 posts)Romney led Massachusetts down a bad path. I know, I was one of the people that lived under his administration.

(50,505 posts)Excellent ad, using those who knew him best in Massachusetts from both sides of the aisle, very damning.
This comment really caught my attention:

made sure no one had access to the governors office whatsoever.
It fits so well with what is becoming more clear every day, he lives in a particular world he has created in his own mind. Yikes.

(95,337 posts)Sure his excuse was 'I'm running for Pres and can't do that as governor'. But come on many many people have run for Pres while serving other offices. What team Romney knew was that if he ran for re-election again as Governor of Massachusetts he would most definitely have lost and probably pretty badly. That would not have looked good for someone who wants to be president.

(39,320 posts)I think the 'distracted' statement says everything. He never was interested in MA. This was a stepping stone to a presidential run.
He is beyond a doubt the worst repub candidate in history. I can't believe that I think little bush was better. But in retrospect, he was. At least he listened to his handlers. The arrogance of Romney astounds me.
