He was quoted in an article, I think from The Daily Beast, from this morning. He said Trump's goal was to bully Biden and throw him off his game so that Biden seemed confused and not up for the challenge. The pollster said not only did Biden not collapse, as Trump predicted, but that Trump came in so overheated and so aggressively that he essentially imploded. It seems the plan was to try to dominate the debate but without any ability to control himself, Trump way, way over did it and ended up causing himself significant damage.

TLDR: Tried to throw off Biden but ended up losing control himself. Nothing went to plan for team Trump.
