He's just going after ANTIFA.

Oh, well, expect the proud boys to pretend to be ANTIFA just back up Trump's false acquisitions .
Wait for it. I know they will. I only hope law enforcement does a good job of investigating when it happens.

Antifa is not an organization. So unless he has thought police, his is still batting zero.

they'll just get a little bit creative

0. select enemy to target
1. fabricate mediocre video "evidence" of enemy vandalizing public property
2. obtain warrant from lazy corrupt Trump-appointed judge
3. arrest and prosecute
4. rinse and repeat as needed

they don't need convictions to mess people's lives up

I am Antifa, though I have not attended a protest, have not joined an organization, have not coordinated with anyone, and I do not know anyone who has self identified as Antifa. I am about as Antifascist as a man can get, and was long before I ever heard the term. The hatred for Nazis came to me through a study of history. I wouldn't throw a Fascist a life preserver if he or she was drowning in the pool. If you are wondering, no, I am not Jewish, religious or ethnic.

are not the grouo we need to be that worried about.

They are like the frat boys of the alt right. They are i to some weird shit too. They "jump in" new members by lightly punching their upper torsos while they name 5 breakfast cereals. Its the dumbest thing I've ever seen, you can find this on YouTube to see for yourself. They wear matching polo shirts and khakis so they look like a street gang from The Gap. They refuse to master ate because they think it released their masculine energies....

There are much scarier groups on the far right., and there is some crossover with the groups, but focusing on this one might make the fascists seen more like a cartoon version of what it is.

Patriot Prayer, Atomwaffen, Identity Evropa, 3%ers, etc Are the ones we need to be paying more attention to.

...Proud boys can't hold a rally without it devolving into violence.

And it's dangerous and misleading to say they're less of a problem than some other supremacy group. Their anti-immigrant activities alone make them a priority for a Democratic Justic Dept. There's also their recruitment activities of young white males from schools and online into their web of hatred.

That's not to mention the most dangerous aspect of this group, their leaders' direct and open incitement of violence...

they're assholes who try to provoke violence through violence and then document those actions as "proof" that the left is really the bad side. Thats bad and dangerous yea, but it doesn't tell the whole story of the goals of the far right. Its not about winning an election, its about violebte overthrow of our democratic system.

There are groups on the far right who are equally as fundamentalist as ISIS and have the same types of goals for here. They'd like a racially homogenous Christian identity state, essentially a caliphate, and would use terrorisim and war to achieve it. They have members in police forces and throughout the military.

I'm a lot less worried about the group that shows up at antifa protests and they throw bottles at each other or trade some punches or even swing a hammer. That stuff is atrocious but it isn't an existential threat to the nation.

I'm a lot more worried about the group out there planning to blow up a federal building or shoot up the playground at a Jewish school.

So yeah, I will say the proud boys aren't the scariest group on the far right and if we focus attention on them the general public is going to get the wrong idea about the level of theat from fascist organizations in the US.

Not that we should ignore the proid boys, but that we cant let them become the face of the alt right because there are much more dangerous groups that we might lose focus on.

Proud boys could dissolve and dissappear and everyone think it's all fine now.

Like I said, there is crossover in the groups. Plenty of proud boys are also finding membership in these other groups too.
