The consensus among the talking heads tonight is that trump was unable to control himself, that he showed no respect whatsoever for the process and the norms of a debate. He was a national embarrassment. Yes, again, but this was way off the charts.

by what highlights people are talking about the day after. Trump’s refusal to condemn white supremacists and a Bidens heartfelt defense of his son are two of the things people are going to remember. Neither is good for Trump. Trump needed to win decisively and I believe he lost ground.
