Most of what the Right Wing nuts say about Hunter is a lie or grossly exaggerated but some of it is true. Hunter Biden has mental health and addiction issues. I think that is how Biden should answer some of that. How many Americans have adult children with mental heath and addiction issues? I do. This is an opportunity to highlight what good healthcare means to those people. It also, makes people feel like they're not alone.
My two cents. Thoughts?

(7,715 posts)I was for Joe from day one, and I previously posted this on DU during the primaries when many had given up on Joe. Many were pointing to the "Hunter Issue". How Pete Davidson did this in his brief appearance in the skit as Hunter Biden is basically the way Joe should deal with it and exactly the time he should take.
The easiest way to deal with a bully, I am sorry to say, is to be a bully back. If Joe doesn't frontally attack Trump with what his own kids have actually done, he is conceding the issue, at least to some people. He should simply deny the Hunter issue, mention to Trump that they can discuss the Trump kids' own massive conflicts of interests for a second, and then move on.
That's my humble opinion. Others might disagree with this approach, but Joe is GREAT when he shows passion. I would be furious if folks were making an unwarranted accusation against my children, and I expect that folks want to see passion from Joe. It needs to be quick, sticky, and over in a matter of seconds.
The Biden/Harris campaign and surrogates can unload in detail tomorrow and thereafter about the Trump brood.

Even without that trauma, many people develop issues.

I think just about anything that Trump brings up Joe can smack him right back. He who lives in glass houses shouldn't thrown rocks.
