There are other important items on your ballot

Yesterday, I received my mail-in ballot which contained amendments to the state constitution and also, judges who were listed with no party affiliation. I called the local Democratic Party office and they advised me on what the amendments really meant, (the wording often tends to be misleading), and they also gave me info on each judges past history.

Each state's ballots are different and so are those in each district. If you're not sure about anything, call the local Dem office.

AND, don't give your ballot to some "Democratic volunteer" at your door who is there to help you submit your ballot. This happens most often in senior communities. That "Dem volunteer" could easily be a Republican who will submit your ballot to a dumpster.

And if you vote in person and are harassed in any way by anyone, call 911 on your cell, or call over a cop who may be present at your poll.

It's not enough to vote. You've got to protect your vote. We are up against people who will do anything to make sure your vote doesn't get counted. Make sure it does.

Speed is important, but taking a day or two to return it is okay.

Also, hand deliver your ballot to your local Democratic Party office if possible.

They are non-partisan. Nonetheless they are honest and will be helpful.

I suppose there are many around here that need your advice, but I've been voting by mail and by drop box in my state for 10 years. I know how to do it where I am.

Things are not the same everywhere. I know that, and I know that my advice to many millions of Americans on how to vote would be inappropriate in their jurisdiction. Thus any advice I might offer is more in the generic "plan your vote" meme rather than howling for everyone to "vote in person" or die. We need to be resolute about voting, not hyperbolic.
