Can Cy Vance be trusted???

Cyrus Vance has a history of pandering to Trump. Reports are he overruled sufficient evidence to indict Ivanka and Trump Jr. for fraud related to condo sales.
I asked the question the judge asked, why didn't Vance take his opportunity?

still hoping he'll do the right thing. I don't understand putting out the statements he does. Seems like he's telegraphing to someone, but who?
