The tax bombshell is reminiscent to me of Romney's 47% remarks.

That dropped just before the first debate in 2012. Not quite sure why, but this strikes me as a similar October surprise with similarly devastating results. Yes, we had the "pussy grabbing" audio, but the tax story strikes at the heart of Trump's narrative of being some brilliant business mind. If he's not a good businessman, he's just an asshole.

The Trump defense is so lame too: "It's all made up." All Biden has to say is, "OK, then release the real numbers."

Trump has a narrative that he is somehow "pro-working class." That, while president and after the enactment of a tax bill that HE SIGNED, he paid what $750? While coal miners and former coal miners and auto workers paid much more? Completely destructive to that narrative. He's another country club swamp creature - he founded the country club and will go to live there once ejected from the White House.

Now it is just one more thing that has been stripped away from the Racist Repuke voters.

Family values (vote for the pussy grabbing, porn star paying asshole)
Support the troops (vote for th guy who calls them suckers and losers)
Manage the debt (vote the guy who exploded the debt by giving tax cuts to billionaires)

The list goes on and on.

Now another one, you don't have paying taxes while others "freeload," you hate minorities.

Maybe this will make the Trumpers realize he really is not "one of them" and doesn't care about them.

being racist and religious. Obviously they can identify with him on the racist front. When it comes to religion even though he's not religious they view him as a tool to push their religious propaganda through policies.
