(2,608 posts)All his short little stories, or ramblings have a beginning, middle and end. He always has a trigger line to wind it up that will get the audience clapping, yelling, hooting and hollering.
He really is a comedian. Unfortunately he has the nuclear codes

(1,351 posts)By that I mean Ive noticed a lot of the supporters behind Trump talking to each other while Trump Is speaking. At first I thought it must be an anomaly for whatever rally it was, but Ive noticed this over and over. When people are speaking to each other while you are talking, youve lost your audience. Yes, theyll perk up and clap at the right moments, but there definitely seems a lack of attention that I dont remember seeing in previous Trump rallies (pre-COVID).

(1,351 posts)I think big rallies were more important in the pre-COVID days when thats how candidates stirred up enthusiasm. Debates in those circumstances were an after thought that only the most dedicated watched. I think this year the debates will have a lot more importance than rallies.
I could be wrong, but thats my gut feeling.

(31,261 posts)Joe just need to keep doing events where masks are worn and social distancing is done.
I believe that Trump is setting himself up for a fall with the rallies. The delay time for serious symptoms can be 2-3 weeks. He could have lots of critically ill supporters just when voting heats up.
