Two GOP Elections Officials Quit In North Carolina
September 24, 2020 at 7:28 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

“The two Republican members of the North Carolina State Board of Elections abruptly resigned Wednesday, saying in separate letters that they felt misled by the state attorney general’s office and board staff when they agreed to a settlement that would allow voters to fix absentee ballots with missing information,” CNN reports.

“The stunning departures, less than six weeks before Election Day in a hotly contested battleground state, come one day after the five-member board said it unanimously agreed to the settlement, which still must be approved by a court.”

I really don't understand this. When they, "fix" and absentee ballot is it after it is received by Maraya1969 Sep 2020 #6
Blank votes don't need fixing. LisaL Sep 2020 #7
So is that the ruling? That they can 'fix" the blank votes and put in whoever they want? Maraya1969 Sep 2020 #8

This way when Trump goes to court to block NC votes that were initially rejected for signature reasons but later fixed, when the Democrats say, "but you agreed to it", they can say, "We were tricked and fooled into it." Complete nonsense.

the polling place? It seems as if they only thing they could fix would be signatures. Unless they are afraid of people changing the actual ballot and perhaps filling in votes that were purposely kept blank.

You don't have to vote for all races, that doesn't invalidate your ballot.
It could missing date, or non-matching signature that voters would be allowed to fix.

the ballots where the sig doesnt match the one on the registration are not even opened.
the thugs like to just throw them away. they agreed to notify voters and let them come in and show id.
