They aren't political observers, junkies, they don't know what MSNBC, CNN, Fox is, or they only watch those shows whenever there is a breaking news event.
They don't know who is on the SCOTUS, but they know of Ginsburg, Kagan and Kavanaugh.
They don't like neither political party.
How will they vote?

(1,962 posts)For many years, I took the time to listen to undecided voters. Many of them had their points, and their concerns, and their issues.
Well, everyone, here we are. You're either for America, or fascism.
Decide. Because there is no more indecision. Not here. Not now. The time for that is over.
You're either for the constitution or the fourth reich.
Decide, and don't decide wrong.

(755 posts)Some people don't care about gay marriage or abortion, they care about economics, etc.

(1,962 posts)They've been brainwashed into thinking it's "us vs them"... And they care about marriage equality, abortion and racial matters.. See, they care because they wanna stomp all over them. "If you give them those 'special rights', you're taking something from us!"
Taking what? You're so-called "freedom" to abuse the others? That's not freedom. That's abuse. So long as they got theirs, so long as they can punch down on "the others", fuck the rest of us.
Seriously. They don't fucking care about economics. If they did, they would not have voted for the worst bidnessman in modern history. Drumpf's as big of a loser in economics as he is in intelligence, sanity, humility, decency, and everything else. "Winners" in economics don't have more bankruptcies than their are USS Enterprises. The economy was fine in 2016. Yet they shoved their red hats into our faces and screamed "FUCK YOUR SAFE SPACE" because they wanted to kick some "others" around.
So, as I said.. There's no more undecided. Vote for freedom, or vote for fascism. And I freaking hope they go with door #1.

(25,645 posts)Reagan: bubble economy, exploding deficits, stock market crash, recession. I remember a joke from that time: What do you call a Wall Street stockbroker? "Hey, waiter!"
Clinton: steady recovery, lower unemployment, on course for no deficit (even with Republicans controlling the House for six years). I remember Help Wanted signs and new college graduates lured into employment with bonuses.
Bush: bubble economy, exploding deficit, war, stock market crash, severe recession, unemployment.
Obama: steady recovery, lower unemployment, brought down the deficit, no bubble economy (even with Republicans controlling the House for six years).
Their information is incorrect and they can't see what's in front of their faces.

(25,645 posts)Voters most concerned about the economy voted for the Democrat in the general. According to the American National Election Studies data, resentment toward immigrants, people of color and Muslims was a better predictor of Trump support than economic anxiety. Economic anxiety being a reason to not vote for the Democrat is a myth.

(11,949 posts)More than ever. Even when Barr brings up trumped up charges against Joe or anyone else it wont matter.
We get our voters to the polls we win.
Obama won here in Florida twice. And he was more polarizing than Biden.
Because he was a black man, of course.

(755 posts)Voted Kerry in 2004.
Voted for McCain in 2008. He is a McCain Democrat.
Voted for Obama in 2012 because Romney was a oligarch, voted for Hillary in 2016, couldn't stomach Trump but is undecided about Biden because he feels Biden did not "come out to condemn the violence".
He doesn't like Newark, Camden and the "cities".

(3,635 posts)and he has numerous times condemned the violence while supporting the protesters. In the CNN town hall the other night he took a question from a retired police chief and Biden reiterated he is against any violence.
Trump and his divisiveness is the source of mayhem in this country, and if police were not abusing people there would be no protests.

(14,565 posts)They are unhappy with how things are going with their own lives and use the anger to dislike both candidates.
That's a generality but it has held up over the decades. When the finding first surfaced it surprised researchers because conventional wisdom had been the opposite, that late undecideds were heavily involved in the process and carefully studying both sides.
That animosity to both sides is one of the reasons that undecideds typically split to the challenger. They find more reasons to dislike the known quantity.
