dems and repubs in congress have special privilege to ignore subpoenas. As for us....
if we get a subpoena even for a pesky minor matter, we are hauled off to jail for avoiding it and not appearing.
Dems make no effort to enforce them and repubs make no effort to appear. Might as well just dump the subpoena process completely and avoid being so hypocritical.
