He got hit by a car which broke his leg. I took him to the vet and they patched him up for somewhere around 100 bucks (1973ish). Everyone of my friends thought I was nuts for spending that kind of dough on a fucking cat. Among the best 100 bucks I'd ever spent.

Otis was easily 10 times the person that Bill-adjustable collar-Barr is.
