Then, go to this Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/joebiden
2,891,568 people already follow that page. Add yourself to the list of followers of our next President. Show your support. Make the numbers grow.
You needn't do anything else on Facebook, but do, please, support Joe Biden there.
Thanks!

(146,325 posts)We all need to stand up and be counted as supporters.
We can't just hide behind our doors and not tell people who we will vote for on November 3, or earlier.
We need to put ourselves out there and make it clear.

(115,829 posts)I have an account containing no information and that I never post on, plus a musical organization that I'm an administrator for; I figure my Facebook footprint is therefore negligible so I don't feel guilty about having one. So I went to Biden's page, signed up and kicked in a few more bucks. Yes, Facebook sucks but I'm willing to use it for this.

(146,325 posts)Joe Biden is doing that. He's on Facebook.
We should do the same thing on Twitter, YouTube, and anywhere else Joe Biden has an account. It's the least we can do. Truly the least.

(29,322 posts)It is fine if you go there but there is no way I'm ever going back to that hellsite. Biden needs a page there because there are so many people there. It doesn't mean Facebook is a good company.

(146,325 posts)You know that you have to go to them, right? Why would I do that?
I follow several groups on Facebook, mostly special interest groups. I have about 50 friends who show up in my feed. It's nice to see what they're up to. As I do on every site I visit, I ignore everything that pops up that doesn't interest me.
It's not a "hellsite" for me. It's just another social media venue I use for particular purposes, while ignoring everything else.
Like DU. I read LBN and GD daily, and post on those forums. I go directly to those pages' thread lists, and don't visit the DU home page or any other pages in the tabs at the top of the screen. I don't use DU Mail. I read and post only in those two forums.
I don't pay anything for Facebook. I donate to DU, though, once a year, to maintain my star status.
I don't care whether you use Facebook or not, frankly, and I'm surprise you care whether someone else uses it or not.
But Joe Biden has a page on Facebook. You can find his ad videos there, among other things. It's handy when I want to see what the campaign is up to on any given day.

(29,322 posts)My problems are with the company, not the users. Right wing pages have more engagement yet conservative cries of censorship are very loud. The website helps them in their information war against Democrats. It may even be more effective than Fox News (Hannity is one of the top 10 pages) and talk radio.

(2,546 posts)I don't really do face book except for my Master Gardener's page and a few others, but I've got a bunch of "friends" and I will send more friend requests to Joe's page to all of those who I think won't be offended...which means most of them.
