COS Meadows also disputes that wearing a mask is a panacea against Coronavirus. He says he would "gladly wear a mask every day if that made the difference, but it doesn't." He agrees its a mitigating effort, but doesnt actually ensure theres no spread of the virus.

(21,965 posts)Well yes gun control laws would save SOME lives but they wouldnt COMPLETELY ELIMINATE DEATHS BY FIREARM so therefore we shouldnt have any gun control laws at all.

(2,636 posts)Except no one said masks were a "panacea." Medical experts suggest this is the best defense we have until a vaccine (years away) or the virus burns out (not here).
