Nobody has stolen it. Nobody has defaced it. It will stay in my yard to remind people to go and vote and suggest who to vote for. I also have other yard signs for Democratic candidates who will be on my ballot.
If it gets stolen or defaced, I will replace it, so I can keep sending that message to those who drive past on my residential street.
See, I don't mind if people know that I support Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. In fact, I want them to know. I'm proud to support him in 2020, and will continue to do so.
I also have a "Veterans for Biden" bumper sticker on the back of my Ford Ranger pickup, which is parked on the street in front of my house. Same reason. Same determination.
I highly recommend putting a yard sign in your own yard. It's a good way to remind people to vote and to let them know that you will be voting for Democrats.
Stand firm for the candidates you support! Show others how you plan to vote!
If someone steals your sign(s), put up new ones. Repeat as necessary, but don't hide your position. The time has passed for hiding our political positions.
It can't hurt, and it might just help.

(146,325 posts)We need to have the courage of our convictions, and show our support so others can see it and be encouraged.
We must not hide and let the noise of the right overwhelm the conversation.

(19,107 posts)My little subdivision of maybe 75 houses scorecard reads 12 Biden signs, 0 Trump signs, 1 Bernie sign.
I'm in very conservative West Michigan. One lady has a huge banner for Biden-Harris on side of her garage, and a huge Black Lives Matter banner on the other side.

(19,107 posts)Have magnets on the back of both cars for Biden-Harris.
And I already have a backup sign waiting in the garage in case my current one goes missing, closer to election day I'll put both of them out.

(10,839 posts)Have my sign up and my bumper sticker affixed. Live in ruby red TN and so far no issue. That being said, I did have my Gore sign destroyed back in the day. But that did not dissuade me from installing any of the subsequent election signs including this one.
And this election, the final result, will have the most obvious of consequences. Looking back, we can see the ragged trail that brought us to this particular juncture. 2020 is in Poppy Bush Speak the Big Enchilada, the vote that saves us from or tips us into the abyss.
Vote. Vote. Vote.
