*NOTE*:there are TWICE as many daily deaths now at this hospitalization trough as there were in June

So one can conclude either the hospitals have gotten worse at treating CV19 or there's something wrong with the current data.

There needs to be justice post Trump or there will be little peace in this country.

EDIT: Looks like there are twice as many deaths now as there was to the previous low PTR too

To months ago even in TX (less tests). I was exposed and had to drive all the way into Dallas from the North burbs to get tested.

Some pharmacies had the diy test kits for hundreds of dollars.

In a metroplex of 15-20M people, I had to drive 25 miles to a downtown location in a different county for a test.

So yeah, things are still pretty suspicious in TX... still waiting on results.

7. Maybe 50% more deaths, but not twice as many.

I see about 750 deaths per day now, vs 500 at the June trough.

What could explain the difference? So many things. One thing is that the proportion of red states being hit is so much higher now. Red states generally have poorer health care, which means at risk population has shifted. Smokers, obesity rates may be different too. These factors could contribute to higher mortality rate from hospitalizations.

12. Could this just be a symptom of the length of time the virus has circulated?

With the damage done to major organs, it could be that one tests positive in March, is hospitalized in April, reaches a point of stabilization and no longer contagious but the disease has still damaged them to the point where they lose the battle months later either at home or in a nursing home?
