Win or lose, what's stopping the House from opening new impeachment hearings on 11/4...

And although some would consider it a waste of time, isn't wasting time what Congress does best?

And, they could include a lot of cabinet positions in the mix. Let Trump and his resident crooks go out with a whimper.

There's no way an impeachment could be concluded by the time he's dumped out on his ass. Not only would it clearly be a waste of time, it would look ridiculous.

Also, impeachment only involves the president unless you're aware of some loophole that involves cabinet members.

was impeached. Several Federal judges have also been impeached. So far, impeaching Senators hasn't worked out too well, but any elected or appointed Federal officer could, at least in theory, be impeached.

And the symbolism could be magnificent-- we depend upon the rule of law.
