What about the other 57% of republicans and 38% of Democrats? Why didn't they answer the question?

or, for that matter, anything not involving survival on a daily basis--is a luxury that many of the poor can't afford. Face it--it's pretty hard to see a connection between your single little vote and any significant changes in your living status. It's related to the learned helplessness/hopelessness that are so (justifiably) endemic among the poor.
