My sister made it to her 65 birthday but is now requiring more and more meds

I think that was the milestone she was trying to make.

She is staying in bed longer and taking more and more morphine and Dilaudid

She sleeps longer in the morning, takes long naps and goes to bed early.

She has stopped going to church (not at all normal for her ever)

Please continue your prayers for her

Having lost my sister this past January, I certainly know what it's like to have your heart jump when the phone rings, particularly at odd hours. My sister was 67.

It's hard. May you and your family find a measure of peace and comfort.
