1. I think Trump and his campaign are both broke. FEC filings should be in about a week. I think we may see Trump is short paying vendors. The big one in his filings is American Made Media Consultants, LLC. I don't know anything about them so I would not be surprised if that's
2. a Trump family related entity but they are by far the largest recipient of disbursements in the July 31 filing. Then Ace Specialties and Amex. We always believe everything Trump says when logic would say that is unwise. What if the reason he pulled his ads was because he was
3. put on cash & carry by the vendors? Here is an article about that big vendor. Says it's an @NRA front.

Truthout is reporting that the Trump 2020 campaign paid shell companies related to ad buyers who are part of a purported plan with the NRA.

5. Here's the corporate registration. American Made Media, LLC Formed in Delaware on April 19, 2018. bizapedia.com/de/american-ma
6. In 2020, that shell entity has received $155,389,846.
Vendor/Recipient Profile: American Made Media Consultants

7. I wonder if the link between Trump campaign and the folks doing NRA's media booking has drawn Trump into the NRA's NY State nightmare? Bet @NewYorkStateAG knows. 😎

(100,107 posts)He's useful until Putin decides he's no longer necessary. At that point, like most useful idiots, he will be cast aside. And that could very easily be the case here. Trump will be a useful idiot to Putin until somebody much scarier comes along.

(100,107 posts)At least in the foreseeable future. The only thing I could see is if one of those Q Anon morons started gaining real power after any election, that could do some serious damage. But I hope we can keep those morons at bay for now. And they will eventually go back to the basement from which they came.

My Regional VP Said Trump Payment checks usually were printed on Rubber and bounced like a Tennis Ball.

(32,096 posts)Mostly to Putin and the Saudis. Which is why he's so beholden to them, and to to his country. He also likely owes a crap-ton in back taxes to the IRS, and the Departments of Revenue of every state where owns property, as well. I can't wait until the feds and states start confiscating those assets once he and his putrid family are all convicted.

(4,463 posts)... when he ran for president. He ran to soften some of his debt to Russian interests. I fully think the initial plan was that Jeb would get the nomination, and Tя☭mp would stay in the race long past his expiration date just try to damage HRC enough to let Jeb win.
Tя☭mp gathering a following and then winning the nomination surprised everyone (not by the time it actually happened, but in the build up). Of course that pleased the Russian interests, but still no one then expected he could win the GE. (They didnt fully appreciate (1) the stupidity of the US electorate, and (2) the power of the Russian interference). So the plan was still to damage Clinton as much as possible to de-legitimize her administration. This is why there was not a lot of thought put into his campaign, and they did shit no one would have ever dared do - because even they didnt think of themselves as legitimate contenders. It was a con job.
Then he won. I suspect now he has been rewarded handsomely for fucking up American democracy. The problem is that its all stashed away in offshore accounts and IOUs, etc... for now. His campaign cant get to it and he cant get to it, without raising suspicions. This fits his MO because, given a choice of having cash dumped into his campaign Via shell companies or donors - or dumped into his offshore rainy day fund, hell choose himself every time.
Also why he doesnt want his tax returns released - because it would expose how broke he was and reveal the con.
So hes not broke. Hes just starving his campaign to pad his own accounts. And many of the usual republican donors are shying away from him (just look at the polls). Hes becoming toxic to the usual suspects, and hes hoarding all the unusual cash for himself. JMHO.
