Mail in Absentee Ballot

If you vote by mail. Track your ballot.

Here in Indiana I can track online when the county election board receives the request,
sends out the ballot, and when they receive the ballot.

If you can't find your state's website to do this call your local election board and ask how to do it.

I plan to early vote (Monroe county), but have a friend who has requested an absentee ballot, but has no idea when to expect receiving it. I will send her to the web site (she is in Marion County).

Click the "After I vote by mail, can I track my ballot?" button for more information.

It looks like most allow you to track your ballot, and it looks like all of the "important states" (e.g., potential battlegrounds and/or Republican-controlled states that are more likely to try to cheat) allow you to track your ballot, so that's a good thing.
