We know that 43% of voters in our district want to give Eric Cantor the boot, and that's before they even know who is running against him. Wait 'till they find out about Wayne Powell!
Wayne's message is being heard loud and clear throughout the 7th District. Signs are popping up and bumper stickers are getting slapped onto cars. People are tuning in to see him on national talk shows and radio interviews. Supporters are cramming public events and town halls.
And now, Cantor has agreed to his first debate in 10 years!
But that's not the most exciting part. If we continue to ratchet up the intensity, Wayne will do what so many naysayers said can't be done: He will defeat Eric Cantor and send a clear message to the establishment that the 7th district CANNOT be bought.
All we need now is your support. Will you help Wayne by committing to knocking on doors in your neighborhood this week? Meeting voters face-to-face is by far the best way to spread Wayne's message of social justice, economic fairness and fiscal restraint. And if knocking doors isn't your thing, we invite you to make phone calls, either in our office or in the comfort of your own home.
Our calendar is filled to the brim with chances to work towards a win in November. We will be hosting phone banks Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays, 1 to 6 p.m. We will also be offering canvassing opportunities Monday through Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 1 to 6 p.m. This is your chance to make a lasting difference in your community.
