past week. We have long wondered what it would take for them to have the blinders removed so they could see how much they have been deceived and misled. (Not making excuses for them. He may yet drive some of them away through a display of weakness which breaks their illusion of him as the Uber Male. Such breaks in his facade have lost him a few followers here and there.

Post-WWII Germany and Post-Wall East Germany contained large populations of similarly programmed people. Many of those remained lost to reality and struggled to cope in the absence of the propaganda which fed their beliefs.
