They had a report on Trump's reckless promise about a vaccine by October. One person they had on camera was a pharmaceutical executive (Pfizer, maybe?) who swore up and down that his company would bring a vaccine to market only when it was safe, without concern for the politics.

Two things occurred to me: What happens to that promise when Trump offers a shit-ton of money to save his electoral ass? Second, how pathetic is it that the reasonable, responsible voice in this comes from a pharmaceutical executive?
