Trump and the military.

I come from a 20th century immigrant family. My grandparents were immigrants who were brought to America as children. I am a 2nd generation American. Some other relatives came a bit earlier, in time for WWI. Every single generation of several branches of my family served in the military. Some signed up. For others, like my dad, it was not exactly voluntary. But they all served with honor.

What I want to know is how did not a single person in the Trump family, going all the way back, serve in the military? Was it always a corrupt racket that allowed you to buy your way out? The Viet Nam draft was disgracefully racist and elitist. But WWII and the Korean War drafts were different. I really don't get it.
