One way or another the idiots who decided to call elections in the middle of Covid-19 and during the peak hurricane season will face the consequences. And so will the rest of us.

Even if we don't get a direct hit (and we don't know how it will develop yet) we'll face some serious rain.
From NOAA
Interests in Jamaica, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala and Yucatan should monitor the progress
of this disturbance.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent.

It's looking like one of those rare Belize storms but it only has to veer WNW and we're in trouble. Depending on its track we may face the dirty side

We missed a tornado by around 20 miles this season. We never even lost power.
And, hurricanes last longer. This thing can & went in under 45 minutes!
