The Convention isn't meant to change any minds, it's meant to shore up the right-wing fantasy, and sell crap to rubes. And unless you're on that wavelength, it's bizarre.
They're living in a world where COVID is in the past, the economy is booming, and the rioting in the streets that Trump is presiding over is somehow "Joe Biden's America." It is literally unreal.
