The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights are also written on parchment which is treated animal skin, typically sheepskin.

Regardless, your point is totally correct. The GOOP and Trump don't care about laws, norms or civilized behavior. They are barbarians.

So what do we do next? Vote? Hopefully, that will be sufficient.

I can only hope that every Democrat, Independent, and Republican of conscience who "gets it" will do the same. Freedom ain't free. We all have to work at it.
