You hear Michael Kors voice in your head saying, "You look like JC Penney's threw up on you."(and, yes, I'm being catty. I've already been told by my significant other that I am very cranky this morning. So, feel free to point out that I'm horrible. That's fine. But, can I point out, she's wearing black nail polish, earrings, two necklaces, a bracelet AND a ring... and this woman has the potential to spend millions of our dollars redecorating the White House to look like...well...her.)
I can't imagine Nina Garcia, Fashion Editor for Marie Claire magazine, would approve.

That costume--and I mean the word in every sense of the definition--looks a lot like the "black boob" mess she was wearing around the time of the Olympics. Some designer has conned her into thinking "one of a kind" means "it looks good" when "one of a kind" is actually a consequence of no one having the poor taste to buy the ugly thing.

(4,359 posts)sometimes I don't even like my favorite but I am impressed by their talent. This year's talent pool is a bit... pedestrian. But I'm still enjoying it more than most shows.

(13,776 posts)He seems nice, he's super talented (how awesome was the skirt on his Rockettes dress?), and his accent is adorable.
I can't believe Elena was allowed to stay after the past two weeks. Yikes.

Dmitri has wit and talent. I really enjoy his commentary.

I think it is from a flashback back to that FOX special on how to survive a disaster. I remember they saying nylons/synthetics melt to your skin in a plane crash. You should only wear natural fiber (and lace up shoes) on a flight.
Damn my childhood obsession with disaster movies!!!

(40,416 posts)As a clueless guy who wouldn't know Ralph Lauren from Montgomery Wards, I confess that my curiosity got the best of me with the thread title.
A great thread. Very funny and DUzy worthy throughout.
And I have never seen Project Runway in my life.

(4,359 posts)then i might have to force myself to take a break. I was home sick the other day and spent a good chunk of the hours floomped on the couch reading DU and drinking juice.
