except along the east Texas and west Louisiana coasts. However, there will be a lot of rain dumped over the area and restoring electrical power will be difficult since such a wide area is being impacted. I doubt the winds will be too damaging. The scary part is that the water temperature in that area of the Gulf is hot so it will provide a lot of energy for both storms.

in the last day or so. Quite a skill those forecasters have in predicting upper level wind patterns.

Good luck to all those in the paths including Yucatan, PR, DR, Haiti, Cuba, LA and TX.....

Will tRump pay these storms any attention next week?

Please do not jinx the residents of the Gulf Coast. Storms in the Gulf can be strange and intensify unexpectedly
