President Trump said Thursday that he plans to send law enforcement and U.S. attorneys to the polls in November to prevent voter fraud.
When asked by Fox News host Sean Hannity late Thursday night if the president was going to "have an ability" to monitor and avoid fraud during the upcoming November elections, Trump said, "We're going to have everything."
"We're going to have sheriffs, and we're going to have law enforcement. And we're going to have hopefully U.S. attorneys, and we're going to have everybody and attorney generals," the president continued.
The president once again criticized the practice of mail-in voting, alleging that "anybody can sign" the universal mail-in ballots, specifically naming the system in Nevada.

(13,903 posts)no fn clue how they are supposed to prevent fraud since they are not poll workers, and AFAIK have no authority to do anything about state managed elections unless called.
Does the Pig expect them to profile people and tell them they can't vote? Man is a nutjob.

(22,078 posts)According to Wikipedia, there are 3,143 voting districts in the United States.
Are you going to send law enforcement and lawyers to all of them? Or just the ones in swing states? Or just the ones in blue states?
You're a fucking idiot.

(13,910 posts)were in charge of elections. I am a Selectman in my town and I know that our Moderator will politely direct Mr. Trump's people (law enforcement or not) to a reserved section for poll watchers far away from the voters. We will not let anyone intimidate our voters no matter who they are and, if they try to, we'll throw them out.

2. How can you commit voter fraud before you vote?
3. Unless the "sheriffs" have the voter rolls book, how can they possibly know who is a questionable voter?
4. Are these "sheriffs" going to physically block the entrance to the polling places for certain individuals or groups?
5. Are these "sheriffs" going to threaten physical violence, arrest, or both if the voter(s) go past a certain point?
6. Will poll workers be "deputized" to go outside and escort in voters like abortion providers for patients?
