More Than 20 States Suing Postal Service Over Changes, Despite DeJoy's Reversal

TOPLINE - Attorneys general from at least 20 states announced multiple lawsuits against the U.S. Postal Service Tuesday, launching the largest legal attack yet on USPS changes by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy causing widespread mail delays and fears about mail-in ballots—even after DeJoy temporarily paused the changes through the election.

Washington is leading one lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday against the USPS, DeJoy and President Donald Trump and joined by Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Pennsylvania is leading a separate lawsuit with California, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts and North Carolina, and New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and New York AG Letitia James have also announced they will be suing.

The lawsuits take aim at recent changes by DeJoy that have resulted in widespread mail delays, arguing that the Postal Service acted illegally by implementing changes without the Postal Regulatory Commission’s approval and is impeding on state efforts to conduct “free and fair elections.”

These trump lackeys never learn. They do things to please Hair Furor and end up in big legal trouble. And they always do this crap expecting some kind of personal enrichment. They never learn that Everything Trump Touches DIES!

Overtime pay is not being restored.
An email has gone out prohibiting maintenance workers from reinstalling the sorting machines, or connecting the ones still in place.
If a blue mail collection box was removed, it will not be returned.
In March the order was given that postal workers may not sign as witnesses to a voter's absentee ballot signature, which happened a lot more than you'd think.

The damage is done and still being done. De Voy is like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar who promises that once he gets the cookies in his hand out of the jar, he'll put the lid on.

Meanwhile, Fat Donnie has expanded his attacks on voting-by-mail to the use of ballot collection boxes.

There is no reversal. He promised he will stop doing more damage, but I don't think he should be trusted on that either.
