LOL! Morning Joe complaining about MSM playing the "Romney Rebound" story

All are looking at a story claiming Romney is on the rebound and scratching heads going WTF? They are questioning the media jumping the gun on a narrative that's probably going to be told regardless of reality.

Weird to see honesty on this show.

Insisting that Romney's 47 percent remark is really a positive that he can use to his advantage in the debates.

I missed the beginning, turned on at 8 and saw them looking at a story titled "Romney Rebound". No one took it seriously as if Romney was rebounding but rather said that was the story the media wanted to tell.

The very crude angle of attack Romney has tried to make is:

"47% of Americans are doing so badly -- and you know I dearly love every one of the 47% and agonize every minute of the day over their plight -- that they can't afford to pay any income tax. Of course I'm not trying to raise their taxes. But I will create 27 Bazillion jobs out of thin air with no plan and no cost to anybody that will make everybody rich like me."

Hopefully Obama will point out that it they get rich like Romney they probably still won't be paying any income tax. Where are those tax returns, Mitt?

You can address this issue on several levels. One is to break down exactly who is in the 47%. Why would anybody be attacking students, children, senior citizens, and the active military who are in situations where the tax code does not call for them to pay the Federal taxes on their adjusted gross incomes.

The other line of attack is that the 1% have been in the business of REDISTRIBUTION continuously for the last 80 years following the trust-busting and the changes that resulted from the Great Depression. Particularly in the last 30 years, they have achieved a huge concentration of wealth that was only last reached in 1929 -- right before the great crash. Look at the richest 400 people in the country. Their wealth increased 13% last year. http://www.examiner.com/article/forbes-400-the-rich-continue-to-get-richer-1

(Speaking to the camera) "This massive redistribution of wealth from the middle class and working people who are just barely scraping by into the hands of the already-super-rich did not happen by accident. It has been systematic. It is the result of systematically rigging the system. All these lobbyists and special interests get paid a lot of money to rig the system for the richest Americans and buggiest corporations. The fact that 47% don't have enough income to reach the minimum levels for Federal Income Tax is a symptom of this greater problem, which is the rigged system. We are working to un-rig the system by ... and Republicans have fought us at every step. It is not enough to reelect me. I will work every day to try to un-rig the system, but you also must elect a Congress that will work with me."

...a horse race to have something important to talk about. Local affiliates can run stories about an eighty year old man who has built the world's largest image of Reagan out of old tires, but that only goes so far on the 24 hour news stations (when you see stories like this on these stations for any period of time, there is no news that they think people will watch).
