What's Happening In Las Vegas Since They Re-Opened?.....

I haven't heard any reports out of Las Vegas as to how they have been operating during their re-opening.

Are crowds of people back? Are they cruising the Strip? Is gambling back to normal? Have their been any accounts of a spiking amount of positive cases? Are the airlines bringing in throngs of people to the city? Are their lines at the airport waiting for taxi's to wisk them to their hotels, restaurants and casino's?

Just curious - is there anyone here on DU that has been to Vegas since the re-opening? Can you give us an account of what you encountered while there?

You can read some interesting current trip reports on the TripAdvisor Las Vegas forum. Frankly, I don't know how much fun people are having there with many things closed or restricted plus if you watch the live feeds from the street very few are wearing masks. I've been there several times--it would be the last place I would go right now.

4. There is a Live U-Tube feed

for the Strip area.

From Monday thru Thursday evening,things are kind of dead city. Believe Sands Corp does not take Reservations from Monday thru Thursday evening. Several Neighborhood Joints have not reopened and the ones that are open are dead during the week. Only the hard core money addicted Gamblers make the scene during the week.

Our Neighbor who is one of the Street Characters on Freemont,only works her Wares Friday,Saturday and Sunday . She says only the messed up ones show up all week long. Leather and Lace anyone.
