Trump is doing his darndest to prevent mail-in voting during a pandemic. He's suing States. He's taking apart the U.S. Post Office. Every chance he gets in front of a camera - he discredits mail-in voting.
Does he think that only Dems or people that will vote for Biden would use mail-in voting? Wouldn't even his supporters take advantage of mail-in voting? I don't think many of his supporters want to contract Covid. I would imagine - even as he's got them convinced that this whole pandemic is a hoax perpetuated to make him lose or that they don't have to wear a mask - that a certain large percentage of his voters would avail themselves to mail-in voting.
One would think that even his supporters would not like to have their right to vote in November be taken away from them or even put in question.
Isn't he kind of shooting himself in the foot here?
It also strikes me as being treasonous that a president of the U.S. would even mount a campaign to take away or put in peril an American's Right to Vote.
Mail-in voting is the right thing to do during a pandemic. Haven't enough Americans died already?
What is wrong with this man and what is wrong with a National Political Party (the Repugs) that are allowing him to get away with this crap.
Many of his supporters feel that their rights are being infringed upon by the mandatory wearing of masks during a pandemic. Why don't they feel that their rights are being infringed upon by potentially having their right to get their vote counted in a presidential election?

(3,496 posts)I have no reason to believe they werent. Since they came into play, exit polls have been out of line with the actual vote.

(17,009 posts)They hacked into replicas of the state systems. ....It would be extremely difficult to replicate these systems since many states utilize unique networks and custom-built databases with new and updated security protocols," it read. "While it is undeniable websites are vulnerable to hackers, election night reporting websites are only used to publish preliminary, unofficial results for the public and the media. The sites are not connected to vote counting equipment and could never change actual election results."'
