CA-21: As New Poll Shows Trump Cratering in the Central Valley, Valadao Clings Closer To Trump

According to a new poll from the LA Times and UC Berkeley IGS, President Trump’s support among Republicans and other conservative voters has begun to seriously erode including in the Central Valley where it dropped 7 points, from 44% in January to 37% now. These are the severe Trump-led political headwinds that David Valadao has decided to face as he makes his failed attempt to return to Congress, choosing his loyalty to Trump over the Central Valley.

In case you forgot, the President is uniquely unpopular in California’s 21st District – he lost there in 2016 by more than 15 points. But while the President is politically toxic, rejected Congressman David Valadao voted with Donald Trump 98% of the time including:

Voting to eliminate health care for over 60,000 of his own constituents and stripping away vital protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

Voting for the Republican Tax Scam which gave billions in tax handouts and lined the pockets of drug manufacturers, while taking hundreds of thousands in campaign contributions.
Voting 21 times to block the Dream Act.

And because Valadao can’t hide from his record as a Trump loyalist, he’s going all in on the President by standing with him on stage as Trump endorses his attempt to return to Congress.

I have a friend who lives in Modesto. They are not happy about how its been dealt with.

3. The San Joaquin Valley was initially relatively unaffected by this Covid-19 thingy...

but they are getting hammered in the resurgence. Reality finally sank in; the orange anus is totally to blame mismanaging the whole mess.
