With Respect To Mail-In Voting - Can A State Set-Up A Number Of Drop Off Points Where....

people can drive-up and deposit their filled out ballots?

I seem to recall that on April 15th (Income Tax Day) that there were drop offs set-up where one could drive up and deposit their filled income tax forms before the midnight deadline.

Couldn't such a system be set-up for the mail-in votes?

You can either hand your ballot to a person at the designated location or drop it in the box yourself.

Nor can a person change from mail-in ballot to in-person voting! 🤬

Check your laws, folks!

They have them at all the DMV locations. I always use that method to drop off my ballot. More hassle, for sure, as it's about a 20 min round trip, but you bet I'm not taking any chances this year!

Every city hall usually has a drop box for ballots.

As for income taxes, Back when I made enough money to have to file one, I mailed it on April 16th every year, as a pointless protest, and NEVER got called on it.

We have one here in Austin.

The governor has also extended the

One of the drop off boxes is directly in front of the Federal Building downtown.
There are many others in town.
Not rocket surgery.

a phrase that's going to be repeated over and over until the election is over.

California already does this.
