Going on 3 days straight with no mail delivery in Virginia Beach

Up until this week mail came every day. My neighbors are also not getting mail.

I've lived here since 2003. Only time we ever missed a day of mail was during a hurricane.

I get medication from the VA, so this is kind of a big deal to me.

This is ridiculous.

I live in a city, a mile from two different post offices.

But my house is at the end of the route, so in the past, the letter carrier would come by about 6.

I get that automatic email from the post office-- a new service, I guess-- they scan the first class mail. There was something from the IRS-- I hope it's my long-overdue refund. (I fear it's an undeserved audit!) It was going to arrive today.

Just checked the mail at 8 pm. No mail. Second time this week, no mail. LeJiz is not allowing overtime, so those of us at the end of the route are out of luck.

I do NOT blame the letter carriers. I'm sure they are furious about this and eager to do their jobs.
