General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI had a pain clinic appointment today and I had to drive from Lansing to Grand Rapids, MI.
I did not see one Trump/Pence bumpersticker or sign. Lots for Biden, and a few "Literally Anyone Else 2020" and "Vote Blue No Matter Who." I know this is anecdotal and not scientific at all, but Grand Rapids is the heart of the Dutch Mafia Belt/De Vos territory, so it's a change from past elections.
It's encouraging.

So I'm glad to hear it! I'm in my other place in another state. Mom's with me.

(19,087 posts)Upper middle class neighborhood with some spots of wealthy. Not a single Trump sign in my neighborhood. Almost no signs at all. My Biden sign and a neighbors Bernie sign are the lone signs in our little sub division. And my normal drives to stores I have seen zero Trump signs too. Several Biden, several Any Functioning Adult signs. This is an area that went Trump.
Its crazy, only place you see Trump signs is on the highway in the country.

Here in TN, vehicles would be heavily vandalized for having a Biden or anti-chump sticker.
Vandalism is widely considered "having fun" to a great % of people here.
Like living in hell.
