I don't want to be a concern troll, but should we worry about this?

EVERYONE IS AT HOME! I’m hearing from Republicans that the Trump campaign is currently around 40% contact rate when they knock doors. Democrats are mostly avoiding this campaign tactic due to COVID-19.

Yes, that doesn't sound best. Karadeniz Aug 2020 #1
I'm hearing that Trump is at 96% approval. Hint: never trust a Republican! Doodley Aug 2020 #2

Do you really think those lazy fat asses would walk neighborhoods and knock on doors? Generic Brad Aug 2020 #5
I'd say Biden has run a splendid campaign for there being a pandemic out there. brush Aug 2020 #6

and, if they are, they are knocking on Republican doors, so fck 'em. Let them spread C19 amongst themselves.

Here in FL, the Democrats are doing great with phone canvassing.

I'm okay with Biden not sending people out to knock on doors during a pandemic. I really don't like when people come to my door, especially if they're not wearing a mask.

That would entail minimal physical effort. At best they are rolling through neighborhoods in golf carts and shouting at residents through bullhorns.

Let the repugs go door-to-door and spread the virus amongst themselves. If you've ever canvassed you're given a list of addresses of members of your own party to re-enforce your party's message and to remind them when and where to vote.

Biden's lead in the polls shows the Dem campaign is working. And IMO it's smart to let trump hold news conferences and mini-rallies where he continually makes a fool of himself with his bluster and lies.

I'm not knocking, but we had an election on July 14th. I'm leaving "creative literature"......
I will be doing it as precinct chair in a few weeks.

One thing about president: Door to door canvassing is probably not as effective as TV commercials or the nightly news etc.
Door to door is good to get input, but voters have made their mind up about president.

I never convinced one person to vote for Beto in 2018. He was top of the ticket and I wore his shirt. Either I got a "welcome" or "slam in the face". It was black and white. I did it mostly to determine if voters were Democrats and also if they were going to vote for other candidates.

I hate phone banking. No one answers and the numbers are all wrong.
