The Russians can electronically flip democratic votes to his column. No one will be the wiser.

Went to Trump by a large margin instead of Biden that would be noticed and be thought of as odd. But if they are flipped to a third party candidate that seems to be a democratic voters idea of a challenger to Biden they can argue oh those voters didn’t like Biden. How would you be able to tell that the Russians flipped those votes electronically?

much more likely they could mess with voter registration instead of actual votes, particularly when most votes will be on paper through mail. Even voting machine print a paper copy of the vote.

I can't speak for BLM and our Brothers and Sisters who are struggling, but it seems to be that, by supporting Trump, Kanye appears to be a turncoat. He must know that Tramp is an icon of White Supremacists and a proponent of racism.

That has to be disappointing to the movement and an obvious betrayal. With the kind of green he has, he could be putting that into supporting and strengthening BLM and other, similar causes. His "celebrity" means he could make an impact and call for change by speaking out loudly and regularly. What a real waste. I don't care how creative he has been in this case.

What does he do? Hurt Biden? That makes absolutely no sense from any direction for him and for people of color. Even if he is being manipulated and used, how far will he go to avoid the real issues that should really concern him, or did all that money just elevate him above all that and remove him from the plight oppressed people face?

I can only wonder what motivates some people when it is obvious that something is very wrong. I know he has mental issues, but maybe there is something also behind them? Does he express a self-loathing by embracing Trumpism? Is there some sort of Stockholm syndrome going on where he befriends and sides with the abusive captor, in a sense? Is Trump filling in some Father issues?

I don't know. I am just speculating about it since his candidacy keeps coming up.

There is almost no overlap in potential Biden voters and potential Kanye voters.

The only group who shows any level of support for Kanye and Trump voters.

This is not going to have an effect on the race.

And if you're convinced that him being on the ballot means someone is going to be able to flip a switch and reallocate votes to him then you may as well just pack it in and figure out what you're going to do when the loss you are sure is coming materializes.
Meanwhile the rest of us will continue to figure out the very real obstacles of getting people to vote in the midst of a pandemic and overcoming the very real voter disenfranchisement schemes being put in place by Republicans everywhere they can.

West's wife, Kim Kardashian, woke up and thought she can become an attorney without going to law school. I let it go. Abraham Lincoln read for the Law. Maybe she could get a few unfortunate defendants out of jail. Knock yourself out.

But here, we have real consequences for this country, the world, and democracy with West getting his rocks off by being a spoiler against Joe Biden. And for making Donald Trump happy. In 2001, West declared that "George Bush hates Black People!" George Bush?! He's nothing compared to Trump.

Not to mention West's "entry" into the race demeans the process of a presidential election into another episode of American Idol: vote for Kanye because he's cooler than Joe Biden! Issues are negligible.

The far-right is hopping with glee because they, wrongly, think, black people aren't smart enough to vote for the candidate they want, and instead will be swayed by a "black candidate? I must vote for them!" mentality.
