Earlier this year, @JoeBiden visited Charleston. He took a question from Pastor Anthony Thompson—who lost his wife, Myra, in the shooting at Emanuel AME Church.

In 2015, Biden showed up. Shared in their loss. He had just lost his son, Beau.

In his answer, @JoeBiden shares what his faith means to him, the impact of loss, how he found purpose again — the meaning of forgiveness.

Can you imagine @realDonaldTrump showing such compassion? That he's even capable of empathy?
