Unless an ammonium nitrate plant exploded, it was a bomb attack, the only question then is which group was responsible. A metric ton plus of ammonium nitrate isnt normally in a small area, unless it is in a plant that makes and store the stuff, or in a very large bomb.

(33,345 posts)1. It is not a Press Conference. He's there to lie, not to engage in any sort of good faith effort to respond to questions.
2. They've fixed the Press Corp to include friendly partisan outlets like OANN, which disrupts any sustained efforts at follow up questions.
3. Post-Impeachment, it is naïve to expect anything but Impunity from this White House.

(31,261 posts)Add to that, any reporter or cable tv host that call him out for his lying immediately gets thousands of death threats from QAnon zombies. It take courage by the tiny number of reporters that called him out from the beginning, one on CNN and a couple from Urban Radio. It has become more popular to fact check him now that many Americans know him better, but in the beginning only two or three had that courage.
