how I voted the last 20 years I lived in SoCal. In Washington state now. Mail in voting rocks they registered me when I got my driver's license, easy peesy.

9. So from what we have learned is that it is easier to hack the voting machines than it is

the mailin ballot tabulator.

Although the voting machines (most) produce a readable ballot card that is run through a tabulator, the tabulator must read the non-human readable barcodes and qr-codes on the card. That must be what changes if they hack the vote.

The few votes that come in absentee they don't seem to worry about, may not even count them in the red states.
