I rarely donate outside my state or district but I was born in Minneapolis and feel a duty

I just sent money to Omar's campaign, and possibly will send more. She is a bit much at times, but I have really come around with the younger and more vocal progressives.

I have mixed feelings on supporting out of state races. The people in those states HATE when out of state money comes in, and it can tarnish a candidate.

However, I gave to Charles Booker in Kentucky, and I will give to Jaime Harrison (tied w/Lindsey Graham) in South Carolina.

We need more black men in the senate, and I want Graham gone.
