15. Last fall (October), I interviewed for a job.

Didn't hear back from them, so I figured they went with another candidate. January came around and wouldn't you know it, this employer called and ask if I was still interested in the job, because the person they offered the position to failed a background investigation.

As my investigation was going on, covid hit but the employer persisted. My start date was in May, day after Memorial day. All interactions have been via computer, which has been going well.

Hang in there. Things will eventually work out.
