Seven players and six staff members from the St. Louis Cardinals have tested positive for the coronavirus over the past week, prompting the MLB to postpone the team's upcoming four-game series against the Detroit Tigers.

9. They looked into something along those lines early on (months ago),

but abandoned it to try having two regular leagues.

One of the original plans was to have a bubble in Arizona and a bubble in Florida and have teams in each bubble only play each other. That would have required some re-alignment.
