He was using it as an example of mail in voting being a fraud.

Straight back to court to get this overturned before it influences other decisions.

As President, you don't get to screw the American people out of their right to vote because you can delay the postal service's gathering and delivery of ballots.

New Postmaster General Is Top GOP Fundraiser
May 7, 20201:28 PM ET

snip
He is expected to begin serving in his new role effective June 15.

DeJoy has contributed more than $1.2 million to the Trump Victory Fund, and millions more to Republican Party organizations and candidates, according to Federal Election Commission records. He was also in charge of fundraising for the Republican National Convention.

DeJoy's appointment was immediately criticized by Democrats.

"The idea that we would appoint and accept the appointment of a partisan political donor with no credentials ... is reckless and irresponsible ... and a stick in the eye by Trump to a service Americans count on every day," Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., told NPR.

Ballots may not be a good thing. I wonder if some states absolutely require a postmark?

the ballots received after the election and without postmarks were not counted. The Dem lost by something like 17 votes.

Not every piece of mail has a postmark. I think it should be required for the post office to postmark all ballots.

by the MAGABomber’s BS and didn’t get postmarked. People waited until the last 2-3 weeks before the election to send them in, the MAGABomber struck during that window and shut down post offices in critical and heavily democratic South Florida districts. It is believed that tens of thousands of mailed in ballots were invalidated for no postmark and not counted in any way.

I simply can’t understand why anyone would sit of a General Election ballot until the last few days or weeks of voting. What in the hell are they waiting for? Their inaction just seems incredibly thoughtless to me.

And #2 would have qualified anyway, at least in most states since it was postmarked on Election Day.

Used to be, you could get a clerk at the window to hand stamp your mail with a clear mark, but now they have taken away the round stamp from the clerks.

They need to stop relying on postmarks.

Last week I received two different cards from people and they had no postmark and the postage stamps on them weren't cancelled.
