Vogue - Is Sarah Cooper the Reason Donald Trump Wants to Ban TikTok?

If Trump was not a sociopath, then this would seem silly, but everyone knows how the Trump administration is primarily driven by Trump's sense of personal grievance.

Donald Trump abruptly announced on Friday that he plans to ban TikTok from the United States, telling reporters traveling with him on Air Force One that he could issue an executive order as early as Saturday to shut down the Chinese-owned video app. “As far as TikTok is concerned we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump told the reporters traveling back with him to the nation's capital after a trip to Florida, according to a pool report. Trump said he could use emergency economic powers or an executive order to ban TikTok in the United States.

“Well, I have that authority. I can do it with an executive order or that,” he said referring to emergency economic powers. (Later press reports questioned whether the president actually had that power to do so, and the ACLU tweeted that banning TikTok was “a danger to free expression and technologically impractical.&quot

Earlier this month, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the U.S. was looking at banning TikTok as well as other Chinese social media apps, citing national security concerns. Pompeo added that the Trump administration was evaluating TikTok as it has with other Chinese state-backed tech companies like Huawei and ZTE, which he has previously described as “Trojan horses for Chinese intelligence.”

But are national security concerns really behind Trump's sudden pronouncement? Or is there another reason why the president wants to ban TikTok? Social media had their own answer: It's all about Sarah Cooper.

KILL all of his political opponents and people that dont vote for him and THEY are good with that.

Banning TikTok is the LEAST of the egregious horrific shit he would do if THEY give him the power to do it.

These DISGUSTING followers of his have already said YES it is OK not to treat the virus if it is ONLY affecting blue states.

THINK ABOUT THAT, so why in the FUCK do we think the election will be held normally, that they wont use secret police or the military to PHYSICALLY overturn the election?

Why are so many of us still assuming some sort of normality?

Claudia Conway has become quite tic toc famous posting anti trump content and publically calling out her parents to some extent. She seems to be quite a handful to her parents. Her content is quite mature for a 15 year old both in content and visuals almost to the point of making me uncomfortable.

She basically lip syncs to Trump "speeches". I don't find that particular funny or insightful.
I'm always glad to see anyone bash him in any way they can and if this resonates with people great. Does nothing for me though.
As for Tik Tok give me a break. We lost the war on apps and websites appropriating our information for profit or other reasons years ago.
Boycott Tik Tok? Perfectly fine. Trump shutting it down? Oh hell no.

Borowitz and the Onion are very talented at what they do. But this woman’s timing and theatrics, using nothing but Drumpf’s own words, are devastating. It shows how vapid and meaningless his pronouncements really are.

The Orange Balloon has been a Trojan Horse that Putin rode right into America on and then staked a claim.

Almost everything Predator Grump says is usually some form of projected admission of his own guilt, so he has been cuing us in all along and all we have to do is exchange "the other or them" for "himself/I". It's like there is something deep in his twisted psyche that either needs to, or enjoys such an obvious ploy.
